STAR Repertory Theatre is pleased to announced that we received 11 award nods/recognitions for our first two productions of Footloose and Seussical Jr.!

The Seventh Annual National Youth Arts Awards for the 2011-2012 season has announced that STAR Repertory Theatre earned 2 awards, and 9 additional nominations!

Ceremony:
There will be an awards ceremony held at the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. (registration beginning at 6:45 p.m.) on Monday, July 23. If possible, please pass this information and the RSVP link below on to the winners. If they are unable to attend this ceremony, they may alternatively be able to attend one of the other ceremonies held in San Diego, Phoenix, or New York later in the summer.

RSVP:
Anyone who wants to attend will need to RSVP so that we know if they will be there and how many people will be attending. There is an RSVP form located at http://www.nationalyouththeatre.com/news/news_nya_awards2012_rsvp.asp. Award winners and nominees get 1 free ticket (as do participants of an Outstanding Ensemble or Production award). NYA members get 2 free tickets. Additional tickets are $10/each.

If you have production photos featuring the award winners, please e-mail them to us for inclusion in the program and in the slideshow to be shown during pre-show and as the award winners accept their awards on stage.

Program Advertising:
Please let me know if you'd like to promote any upcoming show in our program and/or congratulate the award winners. The programs are folded 11 x 17 sheets, so each page of the program is a full 8 1/2 x 11 page. Costs run $40 for a ¼-page ad, $60-for a ½-page ad, and $100 for a full-page ad. Ad deadline is Tuesday, July 18.
